The User Profile Service Failed To Logon Vista Rating: 8,8/10 4682reviews

Hello, family friend has a DELL laptop running Windows Vista, and all accounts on the laptop have the same issue, which is: The user profile service failed the logon. User Profile Service Failed The Login (Vista, 7, 8, 10) Due to a bug in Vista and Windows 7, users can get the error 'User profile services failed the login' when trying to log in. They're unable to get into their user account, but can usually log in to safe mode just fine.

Hi, I am really hoping someone can help. I followed all instructions in the post, including deleting the BAK. When I re-started though, another even though it said I was logging in as the user profile I have been trying to gain access to, it looked identical to the other user profile on the machine, meaning I still don't have access to all of my files in the user profile I most commonly used. I went back and read steps and realized I did not delete the period before BAK.

When I tried to go back and do that now, it says there is already something named that. Cubase Serial Keygen. Can anyone help? I also tried System Restore to a point before the problem and that didn't work.

Windows User Profile Service Failed The Logon

I also tried System Restore to a point before the problem and that didn't work. Hello there, i have the same problem (profile user could not be loaded) but i cannot find a solution. This is my father's vista-32bit laptop. There are 3 profiles. 1 administrator, 1 standar and the guest one. I returned to my family for Christmas and i tried to use my father's pc. I noticed that the 2 profiles were able to log on but the guest's one.

I tried many things, googled everything but nothing helped me enough to fix the issue. It seems that when i create new profiles, i cannot log on to them. The only profiles that work are the administrator's and the standar one. Every new profile wont load. I cannot use a system restore cause i dont know when the issue started. I have tried deleting programs that occur this problem such us Spybot. I have tried repairing the regisrty, i have tried cmd: sfc /scannnow and repair.

The main answer on the internet is this post and the microsoft's one. Well i have a problem with this solution (follow the path to regedit and find the profile user in the profileList and fix it) because i cant find the file of the new user i create. The file of the user will be created there when i log on for the first time. I cannot log on, on every new user profile i create so i cannot find these '. Autocad 2009 Full Version With Crack here. bak' files in the registry.

How can i solve my issue? First-off, the regedit option worked just fine here, thank you! This is the second time I've had the issue in as many months & this has been the cure. One side-effect happened this time though that's worth asking about. The first time the.bak one had both the Static and other item available already (all I did was set value to 0), but this time around the.bak had neither, so I added both.

Serial Communication Using Visa Labview. The side-effect is: the first time no settings were affected (desktop, themes, etc.), however, this time all personal settings were essentially wiped clean (almost no icons on desktop, task bar, or start menu; and my user's documents folder on the start menu now references an empty folder, instead of C: Users [Username]). I noticed that the one that's Not.bak now was referenced to a Temp folder somewhere whereas the new.bak isn't, would that be the issue? If so, where should I change it to?

EDIT: I just noticed that the settings wipe involved ALL programs using my admin profile, not just system settings. Also, note to self, change the 'ProfileImagePath' to 'C: Users [DesiredUsername]' to avoid misplaced settings. Also, my laptop seems to be starting this as a recurring problem, any thoughts on how to find what is causing it?

I use IObit's Advanced System Care & Malware Fighter. Both seem to work fine because they've been used for a good long while before this issue, but I don't use anything else that works with the registry and I avoid tampering with it unless I'm using step-by-step instructions. The settings wipe wouldn't be a big deal except the fact that this is becoming a quarterly or monthly issue.:-/.

Hi, Thank you for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. First of all, for further troubleshooting, may I ask some questions: 1.

How did you create a new user? Is it a account belonged to administrator group or standard user group? Does this issue occur with the current user? Do you receive any error code? Based on my research, you can visit the following Microsoft KB on User Profile Service (ProfSvc) issue. Error message when you log on to a Windows Vista-based computer by using a temporary profile: 'The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded' Meanwhile, to share an article on the Error 'The User Profile Service failed the logon.
