Until last year I have used it with usb1.0 and usb1.1 protocols without problems on Slackware Linux (and Red Hat 8) and Windows XP SP2 computers (desktops and laptops). However, when I try to use it with usb2.0 protocol it fails when I write to the enclosed hdd!!
